So thankful for another installment -- terrific content, as always. Hopefully during your break you have converted from running on fumes to running on renewably-generated electricity!
We all have a duty to current and future generations to reduce our carbon footprints and this duty falls more on those who live in well-developed countries and especially those on upper incomes. Action is required not only by governments and the fossil fuel industries, but also by individuals. We have all contributed to the problem of climate change and some more so than others. Also be aware that climate change is but only one symptom of exceeding planetary boundaries. The solution is to reduce our current levels of consumption on all fronts. Population growth is also an issue. Once again, see our website for full details.
