Thank you for sharing this. What an amazing woman and unique perspective. It is an overwhelming topic as a parent of 3 young girls. The question for me becomes how to raise awareness and help them see the issues without passing anxiety and analysis paralysis onto them, especially in this political climate. I appreciate your focused interview and the light it shines on the chest tightening physical reaction it can trigger in humans. This issue is so much about security and even more so in places where that barely exists to begin with. Looking forward to reading more of your posts. Thanks...

Thanks for sharing Heather. The question of how to raise awareness without passing on paralysis is a huge one, but we do know that this info needs to be communicated along with things we can *do* about the problem rather than just describing the problem alone. Small twists on delivery like that can help.

Thank you for this piece. It is amazing to hear that it is actually a global issue. As someone with asthma, I get anxious when I hear about climate crisis. I would love to know how we can disseminate the information to Africans as it seems quite far-fetched and foreign.

Thank you again.
