Generation Dread was an immense help to me when I first read it and I continue to return to it as a resource. You can read more about Britt Wray’s book and my climate journey in my recently published book review where I take a more personal approach than a typical review. Now I’ve used the book review as a source for creating a poem that I’ll be reading tomorrow Sat Sept 9 2pm at Agincourt Library in Toronto/Tkaronto at our Scarborough Poetry Club’s “Poetry for a Warming World” event. I’ll share my poem soon :) For now here’s the link to the book review https://issuu.com/richardgrove1/docs/devour_summer_issue_017_-_book_block_-_with_bleed_/20
Ahead of the Youth Climate Action in Toronto event this Thurs Oct 26 in Toronto, which will feature the screening of the film The Climate Baby Dilemma as well as the launch of the paperback version of Generation Dread by/with Britt Wray, I've repurposed some content for my latest blog post that includes my book review and a found poem based on the book review. I patiently waited in the virtual queue at my local library for this book and it was worth it! Highly recommend to anyone who’s trying to understand the complexity of the current situation and what it does to our emotions and relationships. Each chapter wraps with a few summary points, for those of us who appreciate a succinct takeaway. Working through the study guide questions is a bonus feature that will help turn feelings into actions.

Thank you for fostering this Gen Dread community too!
This is such great news, Britt & Team.
The book is one of the most helpful and impactful I have read in years. I have lost count of the amount of times I have recommended it
Wow, that's incredible to hear. Thank you for sharing it around George!
