Thanks Susi. Haven't met you yet but love your work! I flagged The Adaptive Mind project in a talk I gave today at London Climate Action Week. We need that work out there.
Ah, we should talk some time. Would love to hear more about your London talk. I think we also have joint colleagues who have wanted us to connect. Find me on LinkedIn or send an email (to avoid spam, go to my contact form at www.susannemoser.com). Looking forward to it!
This heat wave may be a "trigger event" which creates that mass mobilization needed for real change, but people have to head the call to action. I urge everyone to join an climate org now and take action! No one is coming to save us. I'm in XR Boston and my friends and comrades are sitting in at an Enbridge office at this moment in MA in solidarity with indigenous Line 3 protestors in MN. Everyone has a part to play. https://www.wbur.org/earthwhile/2021/06/30/protest-weymouth-compressor-line-3-pipeline-minnesota
Thank you Britt for "the rest of the story". I felt after reading the WaPo article earlier this week that there should be another "shoe to drop". The honest conversation and sharing of emotions with one another are an important step, but hopefully that leads to exploring our own (individual and collective) possibilities for action in the face of our planetary predicaments. I personally am driven by concern about the future we are bequeathing my 5 grandchildren and their generation. Unconditional love for the planet (including humankind) is a good foundational step. This is easy to say, but often hard to do.
Thanks for this thoughtful and timely take, Britt. Really helpful to keep these clear principles in mind, always and especially during challenging times. Thank you so much for doing this work!
Exactly. Thank you for this post!

Thanks Bill. Exactly - easy to say, hard to do, and yet must be done.

Thanks Kim - and thank you for your work - it is so needed!
