Thank you, Britt, for continuing to present a forum for people distressed over phenomena that seem overwhelming. I think we and our children's children are doomed unless we replace false gods with indigenous experience and knowledge, which begins and ends with respect for the natural world.
It seems to me that transformation at this stage of the game requires us, on a very personal level, to succumb. Perhaps we need to start to get with this initiation process, rather than look unsuccessfully (though on a human level, understandably) for ways to evade it even now. Not saying that COP27 is completely irrelevant, but perhaps it is not where things are at in a basic, causative sense.
